Compound conditioning of the rabbit’s nictitating membrane response: Test trial manipulations |
abstract |
Abstract The acquisition of the rabbit’s nictitating membrane response to a tone + light compound and its components was examined in four groups of rabbits. Two groups received separate test presentations of the tone and light throughout training. In one group, the test trials were reinforced. In the other two groups, test trials, both reinforced and nonreinforced, were confined to the last 3 days of training. In all groups, the animals attained high levels of responding to the compound and showed minimal levels of responding on both tone and light test trials. The inclusion of test trials, whether reinforced or nonreinforced, failed to significantly alter the levels of responding to the compound, tone, or light. © Psychonomic Society, Inc. 1986 |

The inclusion of test trials, whether reinforced or nonreinforced, failed to significantly alter the levels of responding to the compound, tone, or light.</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="4"><subfield code="a">Conditioned Stimulus</subfield><subfield code="7">(dpeaa)DE-He213</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="4"><subfield code="a">Test Trial</subfield><subfield code="7">(dpeaa)DE-He213</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="4"><subfield code="a">Unconditioned Stimulus</subfield><subfield code="7">(dpeaa)DE-He213</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="4"><subfield code="a">Nictitate Membrane</subfield><subfield code="7">(dpeaa)DE-He213</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="4"><subfield code="a">Nictitate Membrane Response</subfield><subfield code="7">(dpeaa)DE-He213</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="700" ind1="1" ind2=" "><subfield code="a">Schreurs, Bernard G.</subfield><subfield code="4">aut</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="773" ind1="0" ind2="8"><subfield code="i">Enthalten in</subfield><subfield code="t">Bulletin of the Psychonomic Society</subfield><subfield code="d">Springer-Verlag, 1973</subfield><subfield code="g">24(1986), 1 vom: Juli, Seite 79-81</subfield><subfield code="w">(DE-627)SPR037022717</subfield><subfield code="7">nnns</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="773" ind1="1" ind2="8"><subfield code="g">volume:24</subfield><subfield code="g">year:1986</subfield><subfield code="g">number:1</subfield><subfield code="g">month:07</subfield><subfield code="g">pages:79-81</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="856" ind1="4" ind2="0"><subfield code="u">https://dx.doi.org/10.3758/BF03330509</subfield><subfield code="z">lizenzpflichtig</subfield><subfield code="3">Volltext</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="912" ind1=" " ind2=" "><subfield code="a">GBV_USEFLAG_A</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="912" ind1=" " ind2=" "><subfield code="a">SYSFLAG_A</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="912" ind1=" " ind2=" "><subfield code="a">GBV_SPRINGER</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="951" ind1=" " ind2=" "><subfield code="a">AR</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="952" ind1=" " ind2=" "><subfield code="d">24</subfield><subfield code="j">1986</subfield><subfield code="e">1</subfield><subfield code="c">07</subfield><subfield code="h">79-81</subfield></datafield></record></collection>
