The crystal structure, single crystal growth, linear and nonlinear optical properties of MHBA are reported in detail. MHBA crystal belongs to monoclinic system; space group is $ P2_{1} $, and the unit cell parameters are: {ie265-1}, {ie265-2}, {ie265-3} and {ie265-4}.
