520 | |a Abstract Floristic and phytosociological studies provide relevant information about plant communities, even indicating the state of anthropization in areas of native vegetation. Thus, the present study aimed to identify the floristic composition and analyze phytosociological parameters in an area of natural occurrence of Caatinga, verifying the human interference in the local flora. 18 plots of 30 × 30 m were installed, and in each plot, all living and dead individuals with circumference at breast height were measured at 1.30 m from the soil of the stem equal to or greater than 6 cm. The recorded species were identified, verifying the floristic composition, diversity, similarity, and the phytosociological parameters were analyzed considering the total survey and per plot. The botanical family Fabaceae was the most representative in the studied area with seven species, Cenostigma pyramidale being the most abundant species among the 25 identified, and, in general, also presented the highest values for phytosociological parameters. The floristic similarity between the plots indicated the formation of four groups, with different levels of conservation. The most conserved plots presented greater diversity and higher values of phytosociological parameters, with some correlation between vegetation conservation and such variables. The result of human activity in the Caatinga analyzed showed that there is a need for measures that promote reduction and mitigation of the local flora loss, as well as in the recovery of anthropic areas. | ||

The result of human activity in the Caatinga analyzed showed that there is a need for measures that promote reduction and mitigation of the local flora loss, as well as in the recovery of anthropic areas.</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="4"><subfield code="a">Deforestation</subfield><subfield code="7">(dpeaa)DE-He213</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="4"><subfield code="a">Diversity</subfield><subfield code="7">(dpeaa)DE-He213</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="4"><subfield code="a">Dry tropical forest</subfield><subfield code="7">(dpeaa)DE-He213</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="4"><subfield code="a">Semiarid</subfield><subfield code="7">(dpeaa)DE-He213</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="700" ind1="1" ind2=" "><subfield code="a">de Oliveira, Diogo Gallo</subfield><subfield code="4">aut</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="700" ind1="1" ind2=" "><subfield code="a">Araújo, Wandison Silva</subfield><subfield code="4">aut</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="700" ind1="1" ind2=" "><subfield code="a">da Cruz, Luan Silva</subfield><subfield code="4">aut</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="700" ind1="1" ind2=" "><subfield code="a">Kuplich, Tatiana Mora</subfield><subfield code="4">aut</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="773" ind1="0" ind2="8"><subfield code="i">Enthalten in</subfield><subfield code="t">Tropical Ecology</subfield><subfield code="d">[Varanasi] : International Society for Tropical Ecology, 2000</subfield><subfield code="g">63(2022), 3 vom: 01. Influence of anthropization on the floristic composition and phytosociology of the Caatinga susceptible to desertification in the state of Sergipe, Brazil |
abstract |
Abstract Floristic and phytosociological studies provide relevant information about plant communities, even indicating the state of anthropization in areas of native vegetation. © International Society for Tropical Ecology 2022 |
