Recently, progressively hybrid censoring schemes have become quite popular in life testing and reliability studies. The problem of statistical inference of step stress ALTs based on progressive hybrid censored data is discussed in this paper. The two parameters Gompertz distribution is considered as the life time distribution. The unknown parameters and acceleration factors are estimated by using the maximum likelihood estimation method. Further, a simulation study is conducted to check the performance of the estimators in terms of mean square errors and biases. | ||

Inference on adaptive Type-II progressive hybrid censoring under partially accelerated life test for Gompertz distribution |
abstract |
Abstract In a life testing experiments, accelerated life tests (ALTs) model has provided a significant decrease for the cost and time. © The Author(s) under exclusive licence to The Society for Reliability Engineering, Quality and Operations Management (SREQOM), India and The Division of Operation and Maintenance, Lulea University of Technology, Sweden 2023.
